   Sandi Stephenson

Husband Tom and I "went to the dogs" back in the early/mid-70s.  We had Rottweilers exclusively until 1982, when we acquired our first American Staffordshire Terrier. Since then we have had many multi-titled dogs, with conformation champions, agility, tracking, and obedience up through the UDX levels.  Our most recent addition is "Polly", a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.  We are having a blast training and learning together from a little dog's perspective.

Over the years I have attended numerous behavioral seminars, including a five day APDT conference in Portland, OR,  in 2002.

In addition to my own dogs, I have had the pleasure of helping many others to train their canine partners. Some want to simply have a well behaved pet, and others enjoy learning how to go a step further, and earn titles on the dogs they love.

I have served not only as an instructor, but as Director of Training for Glenbard All Breed Obedience Club, and for Fox Valley Dog Training Clubs. My combined method of behavioral techniques has proven to be highly successful.  I look forward to meeting you and your dogs at Best Dog Retreat.
